In addition to promoting reading, Newtoro also supports youth through career guidance initiatives that encourage educational growth, skills development, and informed career pathways.

Position Summary

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer supports the assessment and continuous improvement of Newtoro’s programs and initiatives. The position is responsible for developing monitoring frameworks, collecting and analyzing program data, and supporting evidence-based decision-making.

The role plays an important part in ensuring that Newtoro’s literacy and youth development programs are effectively implemented, measured, and continuously improved to maximize impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data on program outcomes.
  • Recommend improvements based on findings.

Qualifications

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects is preferred.
  • Experience working with community programs, education initiatives, or nonprofit organizations is an asset.
